ABOUT THIS COURSE:

Explore Irish and Oradian folk tradition on this three day experiential workshop. Learn how hay, straw and rushes were used in rituals throughout the year. Explore how these materials were part of everyday life including sleeping, eating, containers and clothing.

WHO IS THIS SUITABLE FOR:
This is suitable for total beginners or anyone who has made some baskets but would like to improve their skills.

Travel and Accommodation:

If you are travelling from afar we can help you to find lovely overnight accommodation. Please ask.

If you are travelling from abroad we can pick up from Gatwick International Airport for a cost of £35 or from Lewes or Uckfield train stations at no charge.

Course Terms and Conditions:

Your place on a course is only secured by booking and paying in full in advance. 

Cancellations:

If you cancel having paid, I'll refund 90% of your fee if I'm able to fill your place. If I'm not able to fill your place you’ll forfeit your fee. I will make every reasonable effort to find someone to take your place. If you book and pay but do not attend the course, no refund will be given. No refunds can be given if you cancel or fail to attend. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the course, you’ll receive a full refund. Bookings are not transferable.

Accessibility;

A certain level of physical ability is required for these courses. My aim is to make my willow daysaccessible but if you do have mobility issues please contact me before you book. My courses are designed for adults, however, age 15 + olds are welcome if accompanied by a responsible, participating adult.
